At Sviga.io, we believe that your data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains our "Privacy by Design" approach for Shera

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or metadata to our servers. All file transfers occur directly between your devices over your local network (Peer-to-Peer).
We do not track what files you send, who you send them to, or when you use the app.
The app does not contain any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs

To provide file transfer functionality, the app requires specific permissions. Here is exactly how they are used:

Local Network Access: Used solely to discover other devices running Shera on the same Wi-Fi or Ethernet subnet.
Photos and Media Library: Used only to allow you to select photos or videos you wish to send, or to save received media to your device.
Files and Storage: Used to browse your device for files you want to share and to write received files to your designated "Downloads" folder.
Device Identity: Your device’s name (e.g., "Sam's Phone") is broadcast to other users on your local network only so they can identify your device and initiate a transfer. This information is never sent to us

Because Shera operates on your local network, your data is as secure as your network itself.

Direct Transfer: Files are streamed directly from sender to receiver.
User Control: No file can be received without your explicit "Accept" or "Decline" confirmation

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties because we do not have access to it in the first place

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
